Golf Shop
Rob Gibbons
Rob is the PGA Head Professional at Arrowhead. He organizes and directs golf activities at the club and runs the Golf Shop. Rob grew up on Arrowhead Golf Course; he began golfing here when he was six years old, and he has been working full-time at Arrowhead since 1978. If you need to know any insider tips about the course, Rob is your guy.
Rob is a highly accomplished golfer. After lettering four years at Oregon State, he has had a successful golf career. He was the 1989 PGA Section Champion, and he participated in the 1989 PGA Championship. In 1991 he won the Rosauers Open Invitational with a record-breaking score of eighteen under, and in 1999 he won the Giusti Invitational. He was the 2008 Senior Oregon Open Champion. The list could go on…
Rob studied business at OSU, and he is passionate about people and golf. He has been married to his wife, Karyn, for 33 years, and they have three daughters: Kalee, Melissa, and Jennifer. If Rob isn’t golfing at Arrowhead—or any other tournament in the Northwest—he is probably watching sports. If he could eat dinner with anyone throughout history, it would be Ben Hogan.

David Brown
As the Membership Director, David’s responsibilities include serving the membership, membership sales, the management team, and project assistance. David has a finance certificate from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Grand Canyon University.
David started in the golf business at eighteen years old, cleaning golf carts and scrubbing golf clubs. He worked his way through college as a player service attendant and golf caddy at some of the best golf facilities in the world—even Augusta National. He played golf professionally from 2004-2012 full-time, and he is currently enrolled in the PGA Apprentice Program. David recently earned the Oregon Chapter PGA Player of the Year for 2017.
David enjoys the camaraderie and the family environment at Arrowhead; he is excited for the opportunity to impact positive changes and quality improvements throughout the club. Arrowhead provides a place to meet great people and create friendships through golf.
If this golf pro isn’t golfing, he is probably watching a ball game, movies, or working on projects at his house. You may not know that David has also been trained in Jiu-Jitsu by one of the best Jiu-Jitsu specialists in the world.
