Rob Gibbons

Head Professional

Rob is the PGA Head Professional at Arrowhead. He organizes and directs golf activities at the club and runs the Golf Shop. Rob grew up on Arrowhead Golf Course; he began golfing here when he was six years old, and he has been working full-time at Arrowhead since 1978. If you need to know any insider tips about the course, Rob is your guy.

Rob is a highly accomplished golfer. After lettering four years at Oregon State, he has had a successful golf career. He was the 1989 PGA Section Champion, and he participated in the 1989 PGA Championship. In 1991 he won the Rosauers Open Invitational with a record-breaking score of eighteen under, and in 1999 he won the Giusti Invitational. He was the 2008 Senior Oregon Open Champion. The list could go on…

Rob studied business at OSU, and he is passionate about people and golf. He has been married to his wife, Karyn, for 33 years, and they have three daughters: Kalee, Melissa, and Jennifer. If Rob isn’t golfing at Arrowhead—or any other tournament in the Northwest—he is probably watching sports. If he could eat dinner with anyone throughout history, it would be Ben Hogan.

Scott Carscallen

Tournament Director and Technology Coordinator

Scott is the Arrowhead Tournament Director and the Technology Coordinator for Fisher Corporation. He has been working at Arrowhead for 14 years, starting out on the range crew. Scott earned a degree in Business Administration from Eastern Oregon University. If you have any questions about men’s and women’s clubs, outside tournaments, or the pro shop—Scott is your man. He also puts together our monthly newsletters and assists with marketing and communications. Most importantly, Scott is the unofficial office baker, famous for his Snickerdoodle cookies. For Scott, Arrowhead has become home.

When Scott isn’t at Arrowhead, you can find him at a Trail Blazers, Winterhawks, or Oregon State sporting event, or hanging out with his dog, Lucy.

John Cassidy

Lead Teaching Professional

John is the Lead Teaching Professional at Arrowhead. John joins us from Washington, where he was the Assistant Professional at Alderbrook Golf Club and then a Teaching Professional at The Home Course. John is a Class A PGA Professional; he was the 2014 and 2016 Pacific Northwest Section Assistant Player of the Year and the 2017 Player of the Year for the Western Washington Chapter.

John enjoys getting to know and understand people, helping them get better at golf, and making them smile in the process. He provides specific programs and lessons to keep members excited about golf.

If John isn’t giving a lesson, you can probably find him researching teaching techniques or relaxing. Occasionally, he trades the golf hole for a fishing hole—the most peaceful place on Earth. All he needs is the solitude of the water, salmon or steelhead, and a fishing rod.
